Tel Aviv University Botanical Garden acts as a live, dynamic museum for the world of plants.

The garden is a center for botanical education to professionals, as well as for the general public, exposing them the beauty and diversity of plants, alongside with ecological and evolutionary phenomena. The garden is open to the public year-round, with plates explaining the general ecology of important ecological associations.

Academic courses for Tel Aviv University (and other institutes) students are performed in the Botanical Garden.
